Defense Industry Technology Center(DITC) was launched on April, 2014 as an affiliated organization of Agency for Defense Development(ADD) to provide technical support for company-led weapon system R&D projects. DITC is contributing to technical decision-making during acquisition of weapon systems and strengthening of R&D capabilities of companies in the field of general weapon systems through technical support. In addition, DITC is a specialized agency in charge of rapid acquisition project and product improvement(performance maximization) program for the rapid application of advanced science and technology in the defense field. Accordingly, DITC intends to contribute to the development, acquisition, and maintenance of state-of-the-art weapon systems for the future battlefield environment.
